There are many excellent maritime sites on the internet and some of these are linked by equally excellent webrings. There does not however, seem to be a webring devoted solely to tug sites. This is a proposal to create such a web ring.

It does seem wise to see initially what support there would be for a webring specializing in tug sites.

If you are a webmaster owning such a site and wish it included in the ring please contact me via the email address at the bottom of this page. if you are just an enthusiast then by all means also contact me and lend support.

To keep things simple to start with I would envisage a webmaster downloading the TID logo and establishing a link to this site where a list of links to participating sites would be shown. Alternatively maybe a section of his own links page featuring the logo and a list of site URL's .

If there were to be enough support it would seem to indicate the using in the future of a proper web-ring programme featuring logo with links to ring hub, previous and next sites etc.
